It's a good start so far. I personally would have added much more height. Have you researched free ranging your chameleon once it's over 7 months old or so? There are some real benefits to it and your cage could be easily converted months later. Not sure what age chameleon you're going to get. What about your drainage system? Keep the thread posted on your developments.

i already have a female veiled, shes about 2 and a half months old now, wanted to get her out of that glass cage asap, which is why im making this cage where she can be in for a while.

i will post more on the completion of this cage
