Hey guys I have a female Cham I have a good set up all set up as advised but recently bulbs keep blowing they are 100w and last about 2 weeks before they blow and can't figure out why any answers thanks

No I always make sure when I spray I spray down from the bulb I have had 3 blow on me now all good make

Just because they are a good make doesn't mean they haven't been dropped in transit. I would try returning them. Unless you think there is something wrong with yout electrics.:)

I have returned 2 already that was my 4th one I don't think there is anything wrong with electrics as they don't blow straight away and now struggling to get one due to weather

Maybe your fixture is only rated for 40 or 60W?
Is there a tag on it?
Does the cord get hot?

Also, I have a crappy batch of 40W bulbs made in Mexico and was a case
of 26 from Amazon.com, really cheap, but half of them are bad!!

What kind of bulbs are you using? Is this just for heat?

For my heat bulbs I used to use normal incandescent bulbs but they would burn out after not very long, so I switched to halogen spot lights and these babies have been going for months and months. Not quite as cheap but $3-4 a bulb is still not bad for a pack at Lowe's.

Back when I used to use the expensive reptile bulbs for my turtles, they would blow after a couple week when I had the fixture directly on the screen. Once I raised the fixture up a little, they stopped blowing.
