Butterflies

Have a year old jackson female and I was wondering how they feel about butterflies? I don't plan on using them as a everyday thing but a treat every now and then. Any suggestions? And where can you get them for a reasonable price.

Most butterflies are good except monarch because they are poisonous to them. A species that is common is painted ladies. There are many edible moths, too. They sell them as caterpillars and you grow them. Yeah most chameleons like them I wouldnt know cause mine is too small

No, most butterflies are not safe. Many are toxic because of their host plants.

Cabbage white butterflies, painted lady butterflies, red admiral butterflies, american lady butterflies, and buckeye butterflies are generally used and easy to catch in the US. There are some online sellers, but they are usually rather expensive. They usually only sell painted lady butterflies.

Can you breed painted lady butterflies? If so is it difficult?

oh and by the way they're really delicate when they come out. some of them don't work
