Buying crickets online

Hi all! I have a few questions about buying crickets online.
I have a 5 month veiled chameleon. I have been buying small bulks of crickets from a local pet store, but I think it would be more convenient to buy a big bulk online. So my questions are:

-What website offers the cheapest crickets?
-My cham is eating large crickets, and I hear that crickets double in size quickly, so what size should I buy? I also hear that adult crickets only have a lifespan of a few weeks. If I'm buying a bulk of say.. 1000, what would be the best size to get?

Thank you so much in advance!

I've bought from ghanns cricket farm 3 times now and have had no problems. I started buying 1,000 1/4 size and have recently switched to 1/2 (in hopes to breed them when they become adults and my chameleon is an adult). Its about $27 shipped and will be at your door in about 2 days with minimal dead/no dead crickets. The first box I got from them had ZERO dead!

When I bought the 1/4 size, a month went by and the few remaining (about 60-100) were less than 1/2 size.

Hello and welcome to the forums.

I highly recommend Ghann's Cricket Farm! They offer great prices and their crickets are top notice quality. As for size, I recommend getting anywhere from 1/2" to 3/4". They don't offer adults as the 3/4" are pretty much the same size but are a week or two younger so they will live longer.
