Hatchlings are always a surprise. Even when you're expecting them! This one is a few weeks earlier than I expected

Hey,

Very nice it worked out with this beautiful species.
Keep up this good work!!!!

All the best,
Steven

There are so many wiedersheimis in the US and so less breeders . To the other keepers of them: Start breeding them before the imports were stopped !

Often they are advertised but not really available. I think importers expect a certain amount and don't get that many. I buy what I can when they are available and sometimes I buy them for other breeders.

With small clutch sizes and given that they are so fragile for the first three months, it's not an easy task breeding them.

I haven't been able to get C. wiedersheimi wiedersheimi this year on the west coast. Don't know if they came in at all.

Congrats on the babies. I'm not familiar with that species. Do you have adult pictures? I'm going to adcham it after this post.

You just have all kinds of action going on over there!!:) Congrats! Are you getting them to breed yourself or are they CH?

It may seem that way, but it's not always good action. It's just really nice to be able to share good news with other enthusiasts. The disappointments are still there and I don't mind talking about them. But focusing on the positive aspects of this hobby keeps me going.

These are CH. I have three other clutches due to hatch each month after this with CB babies. I'm nervous though about those clutches and hoping I can do well with them.
