Cage finally complete

Well its finally done... My poor guy has had me poking and prodding and shifting for days now trying to perfect his cage but I'm finally done.. Inside is a hibiscus for high foliage, and a dracanea for mid level coverage. And I built in a pump operated watering system meant to imitate rain.. It's mounted on a 2' table inspired by a design from a fellow forum member... Tell me what ya think

Is that a cfl on the top left fixture? And it looks nice, I am going to make a table just like that, good idea for drainage

Looks nice but what are the PVC pipes for, drainage? How do they drain if that is their purpose?

I have my panther in there and carol, the pipes are just support... The table has no center for a 2' square where water drains through the hardware mesh on the bottom of the cage

Why not just make a center brace made of wood? I think it would look 100 times better then having pvc IMO. Nice setup. How did you brace those dowels?

I´m sorry to tell you that it´s more suiteable to some sort of af tree snake... throw in some natual branches in different sizes (i mean in the diameter)
and maybe a bit more foliage then you will have a "happy" cham

Where is your UBV? I didn't think the CFL's were any good for chams?

Cage looks nice, but I do believe your plant is toxic, it looks like a "money tree" which I asked about in the past and was told they were toxic to chams, so be careful!

sorry to rain on your parade but it might be a good idea to move that power strip further away from the catch basin you have on the floor, so that any missed water that doesnt fall directly into the bin doesnt fall onto the electrical power junction and cause a brown out or worse an electical fire on that shag carpet. get yourself some velco strips from home depot and stick onto the wall several feet away from any splashing water. Maybe place some sort of cover over it like an additional tupper ware bin with a hole cut out along one of the side for the cord to pass through. Other than that good going and its going to be a work in process so dont take things too hard.
