Cage for a hatchling panther?

Hi! It's been awhile since I've been on here but I know this is a place I can rely on for great advice!
I'm looking to get a hatching panther in the near future, and am shopping for a new enclosure for him. What size would you recommend for a hatching? Should I start small and work up to something larger as he grows? Or can I start with a 2x2x4 foot? Would that be too large for such a little guy?

TIA!

Yes, you can but the only problem with that is the feeders can get lost and it will be difficult if not impossible for him to find them. So when feeding make sure you bowl feed or something similar. I was expecting to have a hatchling myself. So I bought a 1x1x3 glass with screen top. So it was perfect size for one lil guy, But the egg went bad :( Babies require much more humidity though so just make sure you research the levels and temps they need. it can be a bit harder to maintain specific requirements in a large cage. but not un do-able

Myth^ a healthy cham has top notch eye sight. If they can't find their feeders, there is something wrong with them. Just make sure they have branches everywhere to reach them.

Oh no I don't disagree. But just saying a baby the size of your pinky might have a bit of a harder time in a 4 foot high cage. that's all.
