Cage idea

I am planning on building a cage for my four year old panther chameleon. I was thinking of having a big, hollow metal cylinder with red frames and put thin screen around the edges. Would the red frame bother him?

Also, I was thinking of putting a funnel at the bottom to collect water and waste, there would be a screen above it, of course.

Then I'd have a stand under it with a pickle bucket to collect the waste.

What do you guys think?

Where is the metal coming from?

The red will not bother him.

Where would you put the funnel? The screen over it would only allow water to flow through, so you would still have to pick up the poo.

I would get the metal custom made.

I would put the funnel at the bottom of the cylinder. Yes, I would have to pick up the poo. Over the years the bottom of my cages have gotten nasty because there's no way for the water to drain.

Are you letting the water dry before giving another misting?
