high everyone i was wondering if the screening used in cages is metal and if it will rip the chameleons nails out, ive never had this happen to me, but i'd rather be safe than sorry.

on my cage that i have its a metal mesh he doesn't seen to mind it at all

It's been known to happen and cause nail loss and sometimes infection. Just make sure ur temps are right and u have plenty of climbable materials plants vines ect. And he should be fine how old is ur cham? I've noticed little guys tend to climb screen more than adults.

EDIT: chams are gonna climb screen. It's gonna happen. It's when the nail gets stuck so if he doesn't move from one spot on the screen make sure he's not caught up. But its on the rare side that screen would cause issues.
