how important is it to feed calcium daily?i have a quad quad that likes to hunt.if I only get him 1 or 2 times a week with calcium without d3,and once a mounth with d3 is that ok?he has 2 uvb lights.

Plain calcium (without added vitamin D3) should be used at every feeding. You don't need to coat the feeders heavily, but because most of our commercially available feeders have a poorer phosphorus-calcium ratio we need to balance them with some calcium daily (or however often your cham is eating).
