Would love any information on these interesting species. New Madagascar imports due in soon and I am considering them but information is quite scarce.

Really?? Who is bringing them in?

The IUCN has them listed as a species that is not exported from Madagascar. I didn't know this had changed. When are they due to arrive?

Yes, quite reasonable and the quality of the recent Madagascar exports has been quite good as a whole. In case anyone is interested I did find this scientific paper with some details on habitat preference of C. gastrotaenia subspecies (at the time, now considered valid species):

Those are some really good prices considering some of the rarity of these chameleons. God I hope to get my hands on a couple wild caught nosy mitsio when I start breeding and hopefully a few good captive bred if I can find them. The mitsio locale seems to be scarce in captive breeding

Yea quite reasonable but it's a shame it's come so late in the year specially when the holidays are approaching.:(

Calumma gastrotaenia is a new 2014 CITES quota species. They have a quota of 500 specimens per year. Along with Calumma guillaumeti and Calumma marojezense that are similar species to Calumma gastrotaenia. They have similar yearly quotas of 500 and 300 each.

Best Regards
