Camille before and after

Camille 194 grams before laying eggs and Camille 137 grams after laying 43 eggs. For the next few days she can eat all that she wants.

Aww! Those pics remind me of Lily. She looked just like that with a bit of a saggy belly after she laid her last clutch. It's amazing how 'different' they feel after they've laid. So skinny and light, bless 'em. I remember Lily felt so fragile after she laid her first clutch! But as it was her (and my) first time with eggs, I didn't know quite what to expect!

Camille update

Thanks everyone for the best wishes for Camille and her eggs. She's eating well and drinking and most of her color is back. This egg laying ordeal sure takes allot out of these little girls. I'll get her weight tomorrow just to be sure she's up a bit. Jann

Thanks DJ! My veileds are very sweet and friendly. Really she doesn't look good in either of those pics.....fat and ready to pop with eggs in one and so skinny in the other. Jann are you sure that is the same little girl?? I think you may have a second veiled none of us know about. She really looks like 2 different chams. I hate how the look after laying. I am sooooooooo glad Chamille is ok. Love to you both.
