can a horn worm be too big???

we just bought the horn worms over the weekend n the food they put in there they dont stop eating and now there huge! we fed him one and he ate it but it took a bit to get it all in there... is it ok for him to be eating them that big, he is a male 2 year old veiled chameleon. thank u !! :)

Yes, they can be too big. One of my males can handle a full-grown hornworm, so I guess it depends upon how big your veiled is. Mine is 18" and well over 215 grams so he's a little on the large size for a panther.
 
Yes, it is possible for them to be too big.
Even though they Squish down a lot, they can cause trouble swallowing and possible defecation issues.
