If I have a Male and Female Panther in two seperate enclosures, should I put a divider up to avoid stress?
I am getting a male panther this week from another person that is movin gout of town and I would like to have the 2 cages next to eachother......or divide a HUGE cage into two enclosures till I decided to breed.

I appreciate the info :D

yeah...just put a divider. I use those blue or green tarps(I use the green ones) that you put over your AC in the winter time:) just cut out the size you need. They work better then carboard boxes.

Thanks Brian....I just don't want to stress her out too much ;)

or cause her to cycle infertile clutches...

LOL yeah - that too - I'm a newbie at all this so I'm just trying to make sure that I have everything right - I always ask before I do LOL I'd rather ask then loose any of my reptile children LOL:D

You guys have nothing on me. Hahaha. I use the most expensive nicest looking dividers available. CARDBOARD hahaa. I have a bunch of moving boxes left over so I have just been cutting them to size and replacing as needed.

Cardboard would worry me.
What about mold and mildew?
It dosent take long for paper to absorb water.

Yeah...a few years ago I used to use carboard, but It would never last over a weak  Thats whay I use the tarps. You can also get a PVC board from homedepot.

no jJustin it doesnt take long. But I replace them all the time. Also letting them sit out in the sun too. I have all these boxes and no where to put them. i dont want to go to the garage and burn or just throw them away so I have been putting them to use. Eventually I will have something better but for now it works and I havent had any mold or mildew come up.

I cant find that damn pvc board anywhere around here. I go to lowes and home depot in both the cities I am near. I cant find it and they say they dont sell it.

check a sign shop

go to a sign shop like Next day sign, etc. the expanded PVC is much more expensive (3x) than the stuff i use which is a corrugated PVC much like plastic cardboard. i paid $33 for a 4'x8' sheet. i choose green but they have all kinds of colors including white and black.
