Do they stay there? Mine when he changes colors occasionally has some really dark black bars and stuff and then I check him an hour later and it's gone. Only suggesting because I literally did the same thing with my new cham yesterday and realized today it was him just shifting into some different colors.

Could be something fungle. look at it really close see if it’s discoloration in the skin, or if it’s a textured substance over the skin. it’s going to be hard to tell if it’s the beginning of a fungal infection, it will be tight to the skin to where it looks like just discoloration but will keep getting bigger and bigger in some cases. how often do you spray? And do you have real branches in the cage sometime dead branches breed different types of fungus that can spread to other organic materials such as skin, scales, eyes, and could cause respiratory infection from certain types of fungus and also mold. Mold is another thing you have to watch for that can cause respiratory problems aslo as well as other problems.

It isn’t a fungus infection it is discoloration of the skin I spray about 5 times a day.

Did you test the skin? Like Darthroastcoffee mentioned, fungal infections are difficult to see. Youll need a vet to test it. Fungus and mold thrive in wet environments.

Either way, keep an eye on it, it looks like bruising to me but I am also only looking at photos so I could be wrong. Burns tend to have a bit of a ashy look along with the black coloration. If it doesnt start to get better or you notice more, seek out a vet who can properly test and diagnose.

I have taken him to the vet and it is bruising thanks to everyone for your help. We have a follow up in 2 weeks.
