Can I help with shrunken eyes on my veiled?

So I just got a male sub-adult veiled chameleon in the mail today. His eyes are noticeably shrunken in, so I have been using a pipette to try to get some water in him. He is drinking it alright, I just want to know if this is something he can come back from, or if he is just going to decline. I plan on hydrating him via pipette at least once a day.

Also wondering why a pipette.... I'd just make sure to mist and and provide a dripper of sorts. It's normal for them to be a little dehydrated after travel. No cause for concern as long as there are no underlying issues.

Pictures would be helpful.

I would be extremely carefully trying to give him water that way... Their airway is in the front of their mouth and they can aspirate the water. I would not stress him by doing this. If your misting the enclosure and he has a water source like a little dripper going on to his plants along with fogging at night when temps are cool and lights are off he should be fine. You can also give him hornworms. They are full of moisture.
