I was wondering if my chameleon could eat pinkys and not choke or anything. I had heard something about as long as it was smaller than the size of his head but im not exactly sure. What do you guys think? Is he big enough? He is 2 years old

The short answer is yes, he can.

The bigger question is: should he?

That's a lot of protein and fat for a chameleon. I would suggest you keep the pinkies to a minimum. I'm not saying never do it, but don't do it weekly.

I Know Im not Gunna Feed Him That Much
I Was Told Once A Month maybe even month and a half
I bought him at a pet store about 2 months ago and haven't fed him one at all

I wouldnt recommend feeding him any till 6-8 months old for a male veiled. I've heard 4 times a year is plenty... Just wat I've heard

Good to know...and welcome to the forums! I'm sorry I forgot to say that earlier.

There's always a lot of debate on the PINKY thing...some people are really against it and I suspect you'll see responses along that line here.

The way I see it, if they had a shot at an immature rodent of the right size, they'd take it...so, no reason to rule pinky's out as an occasional food...but knowing what I know, I can't say "sure, feed them one a week". Once a month would be the maximum I'd think was okay....maybe even once every 3 months.....

I couldn't do it.. I think mice are adorable and while they aren't adorable when they're pink they grow to be!

Also Too
He has this bump near his eye and on his head
Im not exactly sure what it is.
It doesn't stop his daily activities
Hes always active and eats fine
Although the past days i guess it kinda "popped" and like some kind of puss i guess you can say was coming so
So it kinda looks like a pimple
Any ideas?

There's a change the bump with the puss could be an abscess if he recently ate food that scratched him in the process or scratched by anything of that matter. You'll need to get it drained by a vet.

As for pinkies go... they are not a "should eat" feeder. You don't need to feed them... in fact too much may result in gout. Wait at least once a month between feeding these... I have no interest in feeding them.
