Hi guys,
I just want to get some info. on some other panthers' diets. I have a 8 month old male panther who eats like a hog. He eats everything I put in his cage, crickets/dubia roachs/ even the occasional grasshopper. I feed him approx. 10 large crickets a day, and a couple roachs and hoppers per week. He would probally eat a tbone steak if I put it in his cage lol.

As far as I know, the more food the merrier when it comes to juvenile reptiles, but does anyone know if overeating can be an issue?
Also, what are some feeding schedules used by other members? Just want to get an idea of how much others are feeding their chams.
Thanks!

We have had here several threads about overfeeding. Maybe a lil search won't hurt. The way you feed your chameleon bring him/her a fast death, maybe with two years or so. The organs will collaps because of a fatty degeneration.
Halve the number of the feeders and give some flies to the diet.

What's his weight and body length Snout to Vent? Its not uncommon for them to want to eat a lot as they grow. And he's not full grown yet, and no immediate danger of death by eating IMHO. But it wouldnt hurt to start tappering off somewhat, such that he's getting a fair bit less by the time he hits 12 months.
