Can Repashy calcium plus LoD be used every day?

I have been hearing mixed answers about this.. some people say that they use and it’s fine and others say that their are issues that you have to look out for. I am not aware about those issues lol. It’s just that it would be easier for me to just buy one supplement to use daily. It is also what my reptile store recommended the lady was a former vet tech.

I’m not sure how much it matters, but I will also be feeding bsfl as a staple, and I know they are high in calcium and don’t need to be dusted, so I’m not sure if that would change anything.

It has a high amount of D3 for using at every feeding. So you can not go full ham on your lighting D3, and full ham on your supplement D3, at the same time. LoD is great if you have a T8 repisun 10.0 or something. Its not so great if you have T5HO and your cham hangs out close to the bulb alot.

What to look out for is swelling of the eyes, neck, chest, and chin. These edemas are from over supplementing.

It also depends on what species you keep. Montane species will not tolerate daily dosing of anything.
Okay, good to know. I have a veiled.

Okay thanks for letting me know what to look out for. This actually works out for the time being because I am currently using a T8, but I am getting a T5HO soon, so I'll switch to the recommended supplementation then

I don't understand this logic, why? I've heard it many times and have said it myself, but all I can guess is the cooler temperatures=slower metabolism. Parson's are considered montane, but experience pretty warm and humid summers? They also don't really stop growing, so wouldn't it make sense to supplement more during warm temperatures and less during cool? Heck, cooler days I don't even offer food sometimes because he's not that interested. Wouldn't a growing chameleon also benefit from the supplements more. And even onto the word 'supplements', doesn't it depend what it is. So many things could be classified as supplements, so what should we be looking out for in particular?

Not being combative at all, just curious what your thoughts on this are. I know I'm talking more Parsons and you with jacksons. Not sure what jacksons yearly temps are like, but obviously their growth is much different.

I don't have info on Parsonii but I do supplement my growing animals differently from my mature adults. You have to deal with brumation and that has to be less food and supplement.

Jackson's live at altitude in cooler temperatures with slower metabolism.

Okay that's what I was kind of getting at. I'm not arguing or disagreeing, just trying to understand why we say "supplement montanes less". More than likely it has to do with temperatures I'm guessing. An animal with 80 degree basking shouldn't have the same amount of dust on the feeders as one with 95. Idk what jackson are like, but my guy doesn't eat much, if anything, when it's not warm anyway so I tend to supplement similar as I did with a growing panther, but I just cut his feeding back on days/months that are not warm. Or he cuts his own feeding back lol.

Anyway, I'm getting off topic. I've just been wondering if there was some supplement that montanes were sensitive too for some reason or if it just came down to them not having enough body heat to process it the same way.

Is that surprising? Cute, smiling with HUGE eyes, baby features=Disney.
Is that Pascal?

OTOH, they also did this pair...

Why do they always curl the tails the wrong way? Wait... I posited an answer for that here.

The worst in my recollection was Disney's depiction of ERB's Woola in John Carter. I'm a lifelong ERB fan, and waited my whole life for someone to make a decent PoM movie. Aside from ruining the movie it could have—and should have been—had they left Jon Favreau at the helm, they gave us this Woola in a supposedly serious (PG-13) adaptation...
