Can they eat....

No they're toxic! I would say stick to the safe feeders and do alot of searches on the forum about feeders. ;)

aposematism/aposematic

of course there are always exceptions, and varying factors (like the health of the cham, the toxicity of the feeder, and the qty eaten) but generally speaking brightly colored bugs are toxic ( or unpalatable) to some degree. bugs with brightly colored contrasting colors are often a sign of aposematism (warning coloration) or aposematic, and should be investigated prior to using them as a regular feeder. in most cases a aposematic bug or two is not likely to be fatal (they do eat them in the wild but often learn not to) but excessive consumption could potentially lead to problems. so any bug that has brightly contrasting coloration should be investigated first. as far as chams are concerned two examples of aposematic bugs would be lady bugs and monarch butterflies or their larvae.
