can you feed beatles?

i was wondering can you feed the beatle of a mealworm to a chameleon, or are they toxic?

if your wondering i got the idea from my science teacher and in the back of the room he has a tortois (i dont know how to spell that XD ) and a bunch of mealworms and beatles. just a thought.

Humm Im curious as well. There has been one crawling around in my cage the past few days and Neptune seems to just ignore it. Im wondering now if I shouldn’t let them interact with one another .

I may be wrong but i think some people feed the beetles to their chams once they have removed the hard shell.

which one? Paul or Ringo? Just kidding! I think it is beetles not beatles! lol! Wish I had the answer for ya on this one. I am waiting for a response too incase some of my supers turn into beetles. Experts, we await your response!

Paul is a vegetarian. Ringo will require a more varied diet to include animal protein.

The lizards can eat them.

I feed them occasionally when I am too lazy to sort them out of the worms (normally I seperate and keep my colony of worms going).

not toxic. Yes you can offer them to your chameleon. Most chameleons will eat them at least occassionally. Gutload the beetles like you would crickets. Dont offer too many too often.
