Can You Spot Our Type Of Waldo?

Hello everyone. Hope you are having a good week. Can any of you find this little reptile? If you find our Waldo, do tell. I am starting off kinda hard.

I see what I think are a couple eyes—no easy feat with my peepers.

So... it's buried? What reptile is it?

Honestly, I couldn't figure it out. Based on the eyes, I want to say that it is a species of gecko.

What gecko species is an ambush predator that buries itself?

IDK. The eyes just look like gecko eyes. But it might not be getting ready to ambush. It might just be hiding from a predator.

It could be a snake. They look kinda like snake eyes too. I can't tell if they are more like snake eyes or gecko eyes.

If anybody knows what type of reptile this is, please tell.

Yep, I just looked at a picture, I think you are right.

Good guess (I have no idea), Peringuey’s adder is an ambush hunter, and the eyes seem to match.
