Canadian keeping interview

Winter hit southern Ontario and a lot more of the eastern "half" of Canada overnight. I normally have 3 steps down to my patio in the backyard. Today it looks like you could just walk right onto the patio from the top step...and the snow is STILL coming down. Even the buses are getting stuck.
@Kaizen how much snow did you get?

Well, the western half’s been dealing with it for several months… got some freezing rain overnight so you can now skate on the roads.

Hope you’re all staying nice and toasty warm and safe.

It now looks like the patio is one step up from the door so well over the 2 feet we had earlier no it's still coming down somewhat.
We have no choice but to stay home...the road still isn't plowed.

It was supposed to be the first day back to classrooms for the kids...but now they're on line again.

Home safe and cozy and toasty...for now! No other option but to stay home! Hope everyone else is safe and warm too!
I'm sure @Kaizen is busy keeping things under control!

I always got such a cozy feeling when it snowed like that…safe and warm inside with hot cocoa or coffee, watching the silent storm outside turning the world white. Much nicer than being in your boarded up dark house wondering if the raging hurricane outside is going to tear it to bits. Of course having to clear and shovel all of that snow afterwards was back-breaking.

The snow is both good be bad....looks beautiful and you're right, cozy, safe, warm feeling...if you don't have to go anywhere. Treacherous if you have to go to work and deal with it all.
I'd still rather have snow than a hurrricane.

I have no idea how they measure snow, because they say we only got 11”, but I swear it was a foot and a half.
