CANT WAIT MY BABY ARRIVES TOMORROW!

I cannot WAIT for tomorrow. FL CHAMS shipped my juvenile Abilobe Panther Chameleon out today off the Grier bloodline! I absolutely cannot wait I am going to have a hard enough time falling asleep tonight let alone making it through work tomorrow knowing my wife is at home releasing our little wonder into its new habitat! Crickets have been gut loading all day! Fine tuned my mist king and made some last minute alterations to the habitat! Here is a pic of it I will update with pics of the little man when I get home tomorrow! WOOHOO!

yea I cant wait! My wife is going to be home to do the unboxingo_O but I'm sure she can handle it lol we went over the procedure a bunch of times lol its going to be so much fun to come home from work today! FRIDAY BABY WOOOOHOOOO! I will put up some pictures when I get home thanks for the support this forum is GREAT!

Congrats!!! My wife got to see my guy before me too and it doesn't seem fair! haha Mine even went onto her hand and I was sooooo jealous since she got to hold him first! Good luck with your new guy, so exciting! Can't wait to see pictures of your panther!!!
 
Haha thanks guys I got home an hour ago and for the life of me I can't find him in the cage lol my wife said the musters came on and he ran to the top of the cage and then went into hiding lol
 
nice set up for the little cham. i think you have the cage upside down, the door i see is on top is for the bottom so when you wanna clean there little poop or carpet or whatever you put in the floor. just a easy way to get in with out opening the whole door. i have one mines is by zoo med!
 
lol so quick update I am about to switch to lights out lol so far the little guy has yet to be seen! The picture was taken right above the bottom trap door that's what it looks upside down! I will report back tomorrow morning with hopefully some pics! Thanks again guys I will keep you all posted!
 
well its 6:15 here lights have been on for almost half an hour and the little guy has yet to emerge! lol If I could explain how eager I am to see this little guy! I guess it shows the discipline with keeping an exotic animal like this because I want to start rummaging around in the cage to try and find him! I have yet to see him in person and he arrived yesterday lol However It is his home and not mine there for I will leave him be and when he is ready he will come out! I will keep you posted!
 
Ok so here we go! I went for a bike ride this morning and when I got back home my wife whispered to come over to have a look and tucked down in the fern were these two little eyes staring back at me and it was love at first sight! At first he crawled out and it didn't matter how much I didn't move he had his eyes locked one me at all times! He got up onto one of the vines and if I leaned left he leaned right always Rollin those eye balls on me! But wow what a beautiful little guy! As the day went on I was lucky enough to witness a few different things. Upon one of the misting cycles I got to witness the little guy open his mouth and drink water droplets off his nose and about 5 min after that I was on the computer and I glanced over to see something dart around from inside the cage. I slowly scooted my chair over and from under one of the leaves I saw two rolling eyes with a nice juicy cricket hanging out of his mouth! It was adorable he was rolling his eyes around chewing like omg it's delicious lol and to top it all off he also shed today lol his entire body slowly started peeling off throughout the day. The only weird part was when he ate the cricket he got a nice chunk of his own skin stuck to it and ate that as well! Never seen that before hope he doesn't become impacted! Anyhow It has been very hard to get some good pics because he is so shy and stealthy lol but he goes!msee if you can find em because he already had me spotted from across the room!
