See ya,

Damn, Todd!!!! Where did you get her? I need one of those:rolleyes:

Glad she made it there in one piece. Now go get a male!

Todd,

You went to the right place to get that animal!
She looks amazing Jared.

Two different kinyongia species in one week, its all Jareds fault. The weather is perfect here for montanes, so its only fit that she comes and lives on the West coast.

See ya,

Todd

Thanks guys,

I got her from Jared Cain so you can give him the credit for producing such a nice animal. I feel these pictures are deceiving to how big she really is. She is about the size of a 3 month old panther. About 2.5-2.75 inches with an extremely long tail. As I mentioned above she is 6 months old.

Thanks for all the kind words guys!!!! Todd had caught me at the right time LOL!! I have a lot going on and needed to make some room. I thought what is the difference if she is in my collection or Todds. I know she will be taken care of and also "put to use" as intended. I cant wait to trade some offspring in another 1.5 or 2 years:rolleyes: This species is truly amazing and its a shame that a lot of the WCs are so beat up by the time they arrive to us. The process is slow but hopefully we can help others start out with nice healthy specimen in the future.

She is a tiny little thing. After worrying myself half to death with the neonates I have finally calmed down some after talking to a few experienced keepers. This is the first time raising tavetana hatchlings for me and my conclusion is they are just super slow growers (many of you know I dont go crazy with the food either). They get enough food and plenty of sunlight when possible (most of this summer). It seems they have really started growing faster after the 6 month mark. It is nice to have another experienced keeper working with them too.

Glad you are enjoying her and her long tail as much as I did!!!!:D
