Caramel the Bearded Dragon

Caramel is one of my other scaly pets. She's a sweetheart. I raised her from a baby, when she was so small her whole body fit on my finger. She's a bit spoiled. She has a custom built 4 foot by 2 foot crossfire vivarium. I breed roaches for her and my leopard gecko (and now my chameleon too!) but she also gets black soldier fly larvae regularly and superworms and waxworms as treats. Occasionally crickets too, she doesn't like them as much as the others. Her favorite veggies are collard greens (helpful because I can feed those to my chameleon too) and butternut squash. She lets me do anything to her, including dress her up and put her in a harness for outdoor trips. Bearded dragons are really great if you want a lizard that likes to interact with you.

She's also an animal ambassador and goes with me to schools to talk to children about animals and helps teach kids that reptiles aren't something to be reviled. She always wins them over!

I do!!! This is Darwin. I swear you could just replace Caramel's name with his and your story would be a perfect fit! Darwin is every bit as tame as a dog. Really unbelievable how intelligent and tame they are. His favorite greens are also collard greens just like yours!!!
