Casque question

Is it normal for veileds to have these dark spots on the casque, I've only noticed them just now when he's settling in to sleep. He did just shed his casque so it might be new colors? It's above the eyes and up the front of his casque if you can't tell from the pictures. I have my lights about 6" above the top of the cage and the temps in his basking area are about 86 so i don't think it's a burn...

My Ziggy also shows black lines when he's settling down, it's just part of his colouration, and the contract of flecks of black on his other vibrant colours is beautiful to see.
