Avoid shady dot com resellers like LLL Reptile, CB Reptiles, Backwater Reptiles, etc... They don't breed, instead just flip wild caught chams that they don't stand by after shipping.
we don’t know. we ordered a chameleon they said would be older but the exotics vet said he couldn’t be much more if at all that 3 weeks. Cb reptiles just sells for the money.
I'd suggest getting a fecal test done ASAP. CB Reptiles has the reputation of selling sick chameleons. I'd also have the community review your enclosure and care ASAP: https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/how-to-ask-for-help.66/
So, the vet says that it’s the smallest chameleon she’s ever seen and that he is way too small to have been released to us. She says he looks to be fresh out of the egg. He’s going to have to stay in the hospital and only has a 20% chance of survival. cb reptiles is so irresponsible.
Afraid I’m not finding anything positive about them, but I have only looked at the first + page of results. While some places like them may have good prices, you’re much better off buying from a breeder with a solid positive reputation. Those who are forum sponsors all have good reputations and care about their chameleons and those who buy from them. https://www.chameleonforums.com/sponsors/?tag=chameleonsSo this is another company run by CB Reptiles, which is a horrible company to buy from. I would not send her back, but find her a new home.
