cbreptile

I bought my Jacksons from them last year. A 4 month male that arrived healthy and free of parasites, no problems so I never needed to contact them again. I was kind of expecting to hear from them asking or having any concern that the animal arrived safe and is doing well, but unlike a breeder, they don't do that.

My first cham and at the time and I was struggling to find Jacksons that are captive bred as most online stores sell wild caught. If I were to do it again I would look harder for a cb breeder and go that route. If you can determine a seller is selling captive hatched babies from wild caught parents, stay away from that as well.

I bought my panther from them and my cham is two months old healthy etc. They did check up on the delivery and the cham which was cool. However, if I would've known that tortoise town orders their animals through them I would've looked elsewhere before I ordered my cham.

How long did it take to receive your cham? I ordered mine on Sunday and from their chart, it seems as if I should be getting it today considering Monday is the first business day of the week and they have overnight shipping. I contacted them via text and via e-mail but have not received a response. They basically guarantee overnight shipping and a healthy arrival but so far have not lived up to that... how long after your payment did you receive yours?

They are located approximately 1 hour from me, I actually used to live in the same town where they are located. When I was cham shopping in October of 2018 I asked if I could come see them in person to pick one out. They at first said yeah sure then I stopped hearing back from them. I decided to go with FL Chams instead since I wasn't 100% sure about CB's reputation, and wasn't happy about them not responding.

If searching for captive bred Panthers and Veilds, there are many reputable breeders right here. Going this route ensures that you are getting CB. I'm not saying they are but who really knows if online reptile flippers are selling WC but advertising CB?

I had to wait a week because they weren't ready, but after contact I got him within 24hrs

If it was me I'd avoid them and go with one of the known/reputable chameleon breeders. CB appears to have their hands in many different types of reptiles, which could be fine, but it makes you wonder how much they know about and well they care for their chameleons. I have nothing to back this, it's just my thought.

They don't have a great reputation with healthy animals. I would definitely go with a breeder. Had I known what I know now about them I would've went a different way. Three cham I got is thriving, but he was a month old when I got him and he is definitely not a Sambava. I feel I got lucky.

FL Chams here too. I considered CB only because they were within driving distance and had panthers in stock.. no other breeders had any available. Luckily, FL Chams ended up reaching out that they had some in stock and I pulled the trigger immediately.

I'm happy with my boy, but I can't say for sure I would not have bought from kammerflage or highlighter, or one of the other popular breeders had I been shopping today.

My transaction went relatively smooth. Only issue I had was I placed my order on a Tuesday with UPS next day air which cost $35. I ended up getting my shipping notification on Thursday which said expected delivery the following Monday, due to the seller not getting the package to UPS in time to meet the next day cut-off. I reached out to FL Chams and he basically said they were lying and was going to dispute this with UPS since some of the other chams that were shipped with mine reached the customers in time. I followed up a few times and eventually got ignored, never being compensated what I paid for shipping. Not sure if it truly was UPS or FL Chams fault.

Mind you, this is at the end of October in northeast U.S. where it is starting to get chilly so I was worried about the cham. He arrived on Monday after spending ~4 days in a box and was completely fine.

Well to be fair in that specific case and am not saying I have not heard mixed things about FL as well.

1 day shipping is not 35 dollars. Try 135 dollars. Businesses charge you 35, because people will throw a fit when they see the shipping cost. So breeders bake the extra into the animals price.

35 dollars (or a little more) is actually what it costs to ship 2 day, non Saturday Delivery which is what you got by the sounds of it.
