Ceiling fans?

So our chameleon is in the living room with us. And we have the ceiling fan on low because it gets a little stuffy. Will this bother my Cham?

Short answer is watch and see.

This is kind of a funny topic to me because I remember a thread a few years back where people were advocating fans to make their chameleons feel like they were outside in the breeze.

Recently I saw a thread saying that fans would stress them out.

LOL

I had a friend who kept ceiling fans in with her chameleons and other lizards in her lizard building to keep the air circulating and avoid cold spots. They seemed to do just fine for years and years.

If you see him/her constantly keeping an eye on the fan and moving to put things between them and said fan, they might be getting stressed about it. They are naturally wary of airborne predators, and a fan might be triggering that instinct if it's moving and above them.

i used to put my all if my chameleons on the fan blade and then set it on slow, the last one to let go or get flung off into a wall earned himself a hornworm.

hahahaha, yeah no but seriously if he seems to fixate on the moment or if his behavior changes while its on i would consider leaving it off. otherwise you should be just fine.
