Cham doesn't notice worms

Hi everyone,
So I tried silk worms a few months back and Merlin never seemed interested and I ended up giving up on them. He has crickets for his staple and he LOVES blue bottle flies for a snack. Basically he likes faster food I think.
I ordered him a cup of horn worms since it's winter and he could use it. It seems like he has the same lack of interest in the horn worms. It caught his attention a little more than the silkies, but I didn't know if anyone has had the same issue and if there is any advice on getting them to be noticed. To be honest I thought about lightly squeezing it while in front of Merlin to get it to squirm, but I don't really want it to pop in my hand if I can avoid it.
As I'm thinking about it, he was never that fired up about super worms either.
Thanks for the help!

Place the worm on a branch a few inches in front of him and just back off and leave them both along. The worm will move around and hopefully get his attention. Just make sure the worm is appropriate size fir your chameleon.

Thanks Jann, I'll try that when I go home over lunch. I left one on the screen for him and I'm hoping he's gone when I get home. I'll try putting a smaller one on the branch as you mentioned either way.

I also had no luck with worms ,I gave up on worms ,,,my 2 chams has always ate crickets and hope that just crickets are good, I dust them with calcium and d3 as needed

Yea I'm kind of worried Merlin just isn't into them. Hope you give a multivitamin as needed too! :)

My cham is the opposite... he likes waxworm, BSF larvae, superworms. But doesnt really accept crickets, dubias and locusts.
I remember once he spit out a cricket! Shoot it, chew a bit and spit it out :D

Took me a while to get Vincent to try a worm, he seemed skeptical at first, but once he tried it he ate quite a few... Now I use them as treats and rewards for when he comes out onto my hand.
