Cham handling updates

So it's week 6 of me and my cham, he's a 5+ month old amilobe panther and has shed once already since in my care

I've been handling him everyday for about 5 minutes letting him crawl and explore me, and i pet him, and he has a free range he spends about an hour or two per day on.

Ive been trying to hand feed superworms, but today for the first time i put a cricket in my hand just for the hell of it and he snapped it out of my hand in an instant. I spent about 3 weeks offering superworms and i don't think he likes thm. so cricks are the way to his heart, and I think my methods are working to make him happy.

Thats awesome! I can't wait to set up my free range, I had my new 3 mo old ambilobe hand feeding on day 4 and I'm so excited that he is warming up so quickly. I try not to get him out everyday yet because I have no purpose for him besides making him wonder why we are playing sit on lindsays hand and go back home lol. When I get a free range I will probably handle him everyday just commuting him back and forth. I can't decide whether every day handlings are really beneficial or not. Who knows?! Not trying to say it's a bad idea but just wonder myself.

I feel like all living things are creatures of habit, if they do something repeatedly over and over, it becomes expected and normal.

I feel as if exposing your cham to this regimen of handling will allow him to develop a tolerance, this applied to my cham most definitely.
