chamaeleo africanus

I got a call from a friend of mine who said that some awesome chameleons came in that he had never seen before. Seeing a picture I knew that I had to have some… These are chamaeleo africanus and man they look great! Researching their environment I am going to be keeping them much like a veiled chameleon. They have awesome blues and greens some even seem to be a yellow phase that are even cooler! Males have spurs and a little smaller than the females. They are in our new arrival showers for the next few days getting hydrated but all and all they are some solid WC chams! We are going to be selling a few, so if you are interested shoot us a PM, the price will probably be around $100 each pairs and trios only. I think the last time these came in was like 5 years ago…

Those are awesome! never seen them before.. Stupid Kinyongia keeping me occupied, otherwise i'd be hitting you up for them.

THanks for sharing, they are cool chams!

Those are some great looking w/c's from the pic's! Hope a few of these get into the right hands. Would like to see more of these around :)

Way cool!! They have bars like panthers but color&patterns like veilds. So I see them together. do you house then together?, do tell more:)

Nice, very, very, nice. Count on you to come up with more excellent condition w/c chams. I still think my boy Lenny is the best w/c quad I have seen. I am so glad you thought of me. Not buying him would have been sad.

Those guys/gals are throwing some wild colors and patterns. Wish I had room to start a new project. Those are friggin cool looking. Thanks for showing us pics. Something you dont see very often.....

I am pretty sure these are the ones I saw on Kingsnake. I was really hoping someone like you would pick them up!!! Great new species to work with.

Congrats Chad, they look great! I saw a few at the Tampa show this past weekend and thought of you. :)

If they're anything like C. senegalensis, I recommend heavy misting everyday. We noticed a huge benefit when we threw our senegalensis in the deremensis system, which gets misted for 10 mins, 3x's per day. :)

Good luck and I can't wait to see the babies! :)

Cheers,

Luis
