Hello everyone,
I would like to ask some of you more experienced Chameleon keepers how much harder is it to take care of the smaller one's like 2 mon, old? Alot of people are telling me to stay away from them as they are hard to take care of and they die EZ. Is this true? Can some one please help me out on this. I am going to buy a new male veiled. I already have the smaller cage, lighting, so on. Any info would be a big help. Thanks everyone, Harleyc

Even if you have owned a chameleon before, really small/young babies can be a challenge. They can be more delicate, and demand more of your time in care, and are harder to see problems (and you've got less room for error correction). I suggest if you've not had a chameleon before you start with one that is well established 5+ months old from a reputable breeder. If however you have solid successfull experience already, get any age you like and give it a try. There's always a first time.

I agree with Sandra. If it's your first chameleon if can find a healthy 5 or even 6 month old it's past all the baby problems.

How old is my babyJosè? I measured or tried to ha i got 1 ft ans a few 3 inches.
