Hey everybody,
Just wanted to reach out to the community as I have been preparing an enclosure since January for my new T. Hoehnelli that just arrived this morning. I just want to thank Brian from Crazy Eyes Chams for all his help throughout this shipping process and getting this little guy safely to the northeast after all we've been through. I picked him up brought him back, opened the box, held him on my finger for all of 10 seconds while I got him into his new enclosure and that was it. At first when he crawled out on my finger he was a gorgeous light green with some yellow's in his face and then when he was placed into his enclosure he went straight to a deep black... it has been a few hours since first trying to acclimate him to this enclosure, and I know that they can be stressed from the shipping and a new territory but I wanted to get everyones opinion here to make sure I am doing this right. I sprayed him down with warm water and have since been trying to spray him every 2 hours or so. My humidity is low right now I have been struggling to get it right (Shown in the picture as 30%) I am running out now to get a humidifier to fix that problem. I do have a larger cage for this little guy and it may take him a while to get used to but other than just leaving cricket in his feeder cup is there anyway I can ease the acclimation process for him. He has lightened in color a little bit, no blacks in his eyes anymore and more greens shining through the black. Just want to make sure I am doing everything I can for him. I have a basking bulb and a mercury vapor bulb keeping his temps in the mid - high 70's. When he first went into the cage he went straight to the middle of the tall ficus I have and stayed in there... he has been moving a bit as of the last hour coming to the out edges of the ficus tree. Is there enough foliage in there? I have some fake plants I can use to bridge the gap between the smaller ficus' and the tall one while the smaller ones grow. I'm redoing his feeder cup right now and he just ate a cricket out of my hand so I feel like hes coming around to the new place.

It just kills me to do it, and I have 4 coming is soon. I will need to slap my own fingers to keep them off the door knob going into the chamroom.
