Chameleon eating weird stuff!

My panther chameleon was on my hand and he suddenly tried to eat things like pencils and rubbers and other stuff, but he didnt swallow it, i stopped him.

If your chameleon is eating rubbers, please tell me you're from the UK. It means something entirely different in the US. LOL.

On the serious side, he should be easy to feed but you must he carefully hat you put in your cage.

Be cognizant of his surroundings and go from there. You are fortunate in that he is curious enough to try things out. However, you will need to watch him like a hawk.

Are they shiny? I've noticed when my chams are thirsty they try to eat shiny things!
