Thank you @kinyonga. Interesting as always.

This makes me wonder about their brain, if each eye focuses then could they be able to process both images at once -- and once one eye finds prey it triggers the eye to dual focus.

My brother's girlfriend (a vet tech at the "animal eye clinic" a few towns over) told me that chameleon's eyes can "zoom" -- this seems impossible from what I know about how camera lenses zoom -- but I'm also not the brightest crayon in the box so?

I really can't tell you if the eyes zoom or not. I have my doubts on that one at the moment...but you never know!

I can't imagine what it would be like to see with chameleon eyes...not sure I want to know.
