Chameleon Fell

While I was cleaning Little's cage I was letting him crawl around my room and he got on the fan and eventually the fan tipped over as I tried to catch it. It didn't smash him or anything. He held on tight and did his chameleon Jedi moves to stay on top, but now he has these bruises that are making me feel unsure if he is okay or not. He's still walking fine and his grip is still good and this literally happened a second ago so maybe he's just faking it? These are the bruised areas. The longer he stays out of his cage the more I see some o

f them disappearing. I don't know though. What do you guys think?

those might not be bruises, they could just be his scales coloring back in from his scare by the fall. if you see them disappearing then that is most likely what it is. just try to keep an eye on him and make sure there's nothing else going on!

tell me about it!! within the first week of having my chameleon, I sat Infront of her cage crying because she had little marks on her back like yours and I thought she was sick and as I was crying, they slowly disappeared! then I proceeded to laugh at myself haha but you can rest at ease for now. I'm sure he's just fine!

Oh been there (the crying) lol. Just like you for like the first few weeks especially with my old chameleon Charlie I could barely do other human things but watch and weep. Haha. Then I was like "Hey kid you can't live like this anymore make a chameleon forum get all your worry issues answered." Ridiculous lol.
