Chameleon handling!

I know everyone says chameleons will never like being held but my sisters panther chameleon loves it! I have my veiled pascal who i hope gets used to me, i was told a strategy was hand feeding and cup feeding, so i cup fed him for the first time today, i was expecting him to run away or hiss at me but he came running right to the cup I think I might have a little sweetheart on my hands it was the cutest thing! Know any other little things I can do to get him used to me?

You can get a large plant or tree and allow him to play on the plant for awhile while you closely supervise. They are usually much friendlier out of the cage.

I dont know what his motives were, but my Cham climbed out of his cage, onto my chair, and into my hand for the first time! It was so cute! I didn't have to move an inch.

ive never said ALL chameleons. just a good portion of them

i had one Spuzmahker an ambanja that would literally paw at the cage at least every other time he saw me trying to get held.

maybe it was just the fact that he liked higher places.

he also seemed to like licking me....maybe i was salty.

maybe he just enjoyed adventures
