If you take out the part about Slinky being a girl it reads, "It doesn't look like it is continuing to develop."

I agree. S/he is recovering. So keep doing what you've begun to go and slowly add more changes as needed. First and foremost, I think you need to know if you have a boy or a girl. If Slinky is a girl, you need to add a nesting box right away. Afterall, at a year and a half, you have an adult chameleon.

Besides, I am dying to know if Slinky is a male or a female. See the picture below. See the little skin flaps on the heels of this veiled cham. That means it's a male. Does Slinky have these skin flaps, aka tarsal spurs, on the back of his BACK feet? If he is a male, he has had them since he emerged from the egg. If he doesn't have them, Slinky is a female. Thanks for quenching my curiosity.
