Chameleon move to another cage. Dislikes greatly!

Two weeks ago, I moved my female veiled chameleon to a screen encloser from her tank I used to have her in. Prior to the move, she was usually a nice green color, no spots and enjoyed her encloser. After the move, she keeps a dark brown or black color constantly, but will return green when I take her out of the cage.

I figured it was the change of the move, but its been two weeks and she hasn't quite adjusted to it yet. Is there anything I should change in my cage? Thank you.

There aren't many choices for climbing around or resting out of direct view from the front of the cage. Your plants drape the sides of the cage but don't really provide her places to sit out of view. Two possibilities...she needs a different arrangement of branches to offer more choice, or there's the chance she is gravid. How old is she now?

I'm not certain of her age. If I had to gueas, I'd say 6 months. She recently had a growth spurt and was much smaller a few weeks ago. Should I add a bin of sand and see if she tries to burrow?

She may not be ready to lay the eggs, but put the laying bin in the cage anyway. If you read the info under the Resources tab above it will give you some guidance about laying bins.
