Hi I have a baby veiled chameleon. And I try to feed him worms and some fruits but he'll only eat the crickets. I just want him to have some variety. What should I do?

Are the worms appropriete size? Tge rule of thumb that we use is not to feed any thing longer than the width between their eyes. Worms can be a little longer. Try some silk w orms or horn worms. I get mine from lindas gone buggie. Dont be discouraged he only likes crickets they are easy to gut load and can be a good staple feeder, all 3 of my chams go crazy for crickets but only 2 will eat dubia roaches. In the little box on the left of the screen there is the.care resources. I would check that out and there will be pretty much evrrything you need to know about your veiled. Feeding, lighting, enclosure, humidity gut loading and all that good stuff. Hope this helps and good luck!

He will be fine. I gutload my crickets with bug burgers, make sure you gutload your crickets. I have several panther chameleons and only one would eat crickets only.

If you just feed with crix you'll be just fine, so long as you dust correctly and gutload well :)

That being said, hornworms are a great way to introduce your cham to worms if he's not prone to try others. For whatever reason, they're particularly interested in them. And they're super good for chams, too.

Try it out, if you'd like :)
