Chameleon Snooring?

For about a week somtimes my chameleon snores during the night. I know this is a sign of uri but this is the only sign he shows. He does not gape or have excess saliva, or tilt his head upword. Can snooring be normal?

I would say no. I think you need to take your chameleon to a vet experienced with chameleons.

Snoring noise isn't normal, chams don't make noises unless they are hissing at you. If it contiues, I'd make a vet appointment.

Is there any white crust on his nostrils? My cham sometimes takes a deep breath and breathes out his nose really hard and the crusts fly off lol. But yeah snoring definitely isn't normal

I will have to scheduele a vet appointment on the weekend I know this may sound bad but what am I looking at in terms of cost to treat a URI? I will do anything to treat my cham I am just low on cash right now.

The white crust isn't really something to be concerned about. Does the "sound" stop when he blows the crust off?

he never makes the sound during the day he only does it at night.

Does he do it for more than a couple of seconds? I mean, if you hear a snort sound (and there's crust) but then there's no more sound, that's very different from saying he snores all night.

The sound is made only a few times during the night

He has lumps on both sides of his jaw though I will make a new thread with pictures when I get home from school

hmmmm.....weird. Would it be possible to get a video (with sound) of him sleeping and making the sound? Maybe that would cause a light bulb to go off over someone's head...
