Chameleon Staying near bottom of enclosure

Hello, i have a 5 month old veilled. He is very friendly and has a great personality. He eats 7 crickets (dusted) 5 times a week. He is given his usual supplementation. His legs and arms are straight and stiff so i dont see any signs of MBD. I do know that MBD can come as a suprise. Recently he has been staying near the bottom of the cage. Usually on the floor. His cage is plastic net and has alot of moisture and air flow. I want to ask if this is premature signs of MBD or just his personality... am i doing something wrong. My goal is to give this chameleon a happy and fulfilling life and i would hate for him to get sick. I have studied chameleons (little) for a year or so and recently got one. When he is on the ground he is standing not curled up. He sleeps on a branch in the upper part but i only see him on the floor during the day. His enclosure is around 80-90 degrees during the day and 70-75 at night. Please help me i am a little worried for my little guy D:

He may be hungry and looking for food AND/OR he may be too hot higher up in the enclosure. Here is some info from the Veiled care sheet.

Temperature:
Baby/juvenile (<9 months): ambient 72-80F (22-26C), basking 85F (29C)

Feeding:
Juveniles 3-6 months of age: 10-12 small crickets daily
Juveniles 6-12 months of age: 10-12 medium crickets every other day

Double-check the heat as well and adjust as needed. They can get dehydrated easily if it is too hot. I'm glad I could help.

This was the only time i got these kind of crickets they are smaller that the usual and that must be why he goes down. Thanks again. The heat is acutally perfect right now

You can raise the lamp a few inches above the enclosure or you can buy a lower watt bulb. If you need to get a new bulb, just buy a regular soft white household bulb maybe 40 or 60 watts. You don't need a special or expensive reptile heat bulb. (This is in addition to your special reptile UVB bulb).
