Chameleon trying to attack the other

a week ago I got another chameleon and it is now a couple months old. I have no place to put its cage so I put it next to my other chameleons cage. My other chameleon is 7-8 months old. My older chameleon stares at the baby one but the baby one doesn't even notice. This morning I found my older chameleon trying to get to the baby even when I covered the part of the cage. He even got stuck in the leaves and I had to get him out. There is no other place I can put the chameleon so what do I do? Is there something that can cover the outside of a 20 gallon tank?

A shower curtain, or a sheet of corrugated plastic from Home Depot. Anything, really, to block the line of sight.

You have him in a 20 gallon tank?

Judging by the looks of those enclosures I'd say you should probably familiarize yourself with the care sheets on this forum. Try to mimic them as close as you can and your chameleon will appreciate it trust me.

I'm actually trying to find ficus plants to put in the tank but I cant find any.

Sometimes the temperature drops to like 65 degrees so the light helps. But it doesn't matter if they have one?
Its good for your chams metabolism when the temps drop at night like that. They have a scale on the top of there head that is like a light sensor and the night light can disrupt their sleep.

No glass for enclosure please... No light during the night, it's not important if temperature slow down during night. Which species do you keep ?

Veiled, ok. Adult, if it's a male, he will be crazy to see his face in the glass... but it's not the only reason about glass enclosure.
About heating and lighting, my opinion is during the day hqi+2 hours (2 X 1 hour/day) of Vitalux, or something like powesun bulb. During the night, if it's the current temperature of a room, it's really perfect.

He doesn't care about the glass. He only gets angry when he sees my other chameleon. I covered the side of the tank and now he is fine

How do you know he doesn't care about the glass? He is constantly seeing his reflection, which is a stress. A constant stress. Screen cages are a must for chameleons, due to not being able to reflect and providing good air flow which prevents a build up of heat and reduces bacterial growth. Listen to the people on this forum for your chameleon's sake.
