Welcome to the boards cerzon!

Chameleons are extremely territorial animals. I'm not sure why moving to a new cage would trigger this reaction, but just remember that a pissy cham is healthy cham.

Some owners raise their chams by hand from the egg, and then one day they just decide they're ready to defend their territory and their life, and they start hissing, lunging and biting.

Don't let it worry you, also don't be afraid of him. Use gloves when remove him for cage cleaning. I remove my adult veiled fairly regularly, but mostly leave him to rule his little kingdom.

Good luck! post some pics of your cham!

haha dejavu! (I think thats how you spell it)

My Female Veiled got attitude when she was moved into a bigger cage. Was upset till I found out they were territorial.

Maybe if you're lucky he will calm down enough so you can take him out of the cage every once and a while :)
