Chameleon without a tongue.

I recently got a chameleon from a friend with no tongue so I was wondering if anyone has any tips that will help me care for this her.

Wow sorry too hear that. You are definitely going to have to hand feed it's going to be a real challenge I don't envy you.

I'd make a shallow feeding bowl he can get in and out of easily and cut off the feeder's legs so he can munch them up. Though, I don't know if this method is the most humane one out there haha.

I have done that with crickets to keep them from hopping out of the cup, but I just took off the back legs.

Silkworms aren't a great staple. I used the crickets in a bowl method for mine who was deformed in the mouth.

Silkworm is very staple especially for a no tongue chameleon
The forum care sheets do recommend silkworm

Lots top breeder recommend the silkworm as a low fat diet since its a mulberry plant eater!
Also variety feeder is the key for an healthy chameleon.
Cricket will need to gutload to be the quality feeder, combines together will be even better if the OP's cham willing to take both.
