is it normal for a chameleon to fall asleep during shower?

he seems like enjoying the shower that he looked doze off.. he assume the pose of sleeping with the tail curled up.
Today he has been scratching his left eyes on his ficus tree.
So I put him in the shower hoping he would be able to clean it better.
is 30 minutes in the shower too long or not enough?
please lemme know.. in 5 minutes it'll be half an hour

Mine seems to hate it so bad that I rarely leave him in any longer than 15 minutes unless I think he hasn't been drinking good or is shedding. Yours seems to like it much better. Thirty minutes is fine. I'm trying to work mine up to that.
