good looking or meh?

Is he Ambanja ?

It was sold to me as a blue bar ambilobe? but i have my doubts?

It can be, It can also be a Blue bar Ambanja. I'm sure its a blue bar Ambilobe though i mean thats what they sold it to you as.

Regardless of whatever locale he truly is, you should never think of any panther as a "meh" quality creature. Although some locales may appear more vibrantly colored then others, it is the diversity of the pardalis species that makes them incredible. Based on the observation of my own Ambilobe, i would say that your chameleon is probably of a different locale or perhaps a combination of more then one locale. He has a lot of blue in him, which made me think he may be part Nosy be, part ambanja. Hopefully, someone of greater pardalis expertise can chime in and pinpoint his locale or his mixture thereof. For now, you should be happy with him and except him for what he is, an awesome looking chameleon. Cheers,

a local breeder and he told me he bought a clutch off bluebeastreptile....
I treat the cham better then my gf for sure. i just dont want to breed 'meh' looking chameleons... and if it is a morph i'd rather not breed it at all...
