a quick N easy way to plant your cage and best of all - it keeps the bottom free of pots, so no hiding feeders !! and really easy to clean :)
one thing I learned in rescue- keep your quarantine cages simple and clean - all this cost $ 7.00 - and if the new guy ends up having something nasty - I can toss it all, and put the hanger in the oven to clean - I like to spot clean everyday , and this makes it really easy to do :) The hangers are from Home Depot ( they were on clearance for $3 )

lol - I dont know- we only have a mc D in one town, and sub way in the other - I would have to drive 40 miles to a D Q :p I had my first ever DQ this summer- a turtle Sunday OMG it was YUMMMMMMMMMY - I am glad its 40 miles away !!

Great idea Cheryl. I think I will try out this idea for my indoor and my outdoor cages. I am building new outdoor cages during the winter while my boys are stuck inside. Then once spring hits and they can spend days outside I plan to make some updates to the indoor cages.

Thanks for the tip, it looks much better than my small pots with zip ties attaching them randomly to branches in the cages.
